Evergreen Kennel Club Obedience and Rally Trials

K9 Shrink Clients had a fine time at the Evergreen Kennel Club Obedience Trials in Greeley on Saturday and Sunday, September 11 & 12.

Shelby Enke and her Australian Shepherd Elvis were excited when the entire audience burst into cheers as Elvis took First Place in Utility A to win his First Leg towards his Utility Dog (UD) Title. Competition is very hard at this level, so  we are all proud for Elvis‘ win.

Judy Scherpelz and her Australian Shepherd Milo took Third Place in Open A to earn Milo‘s Second Leg toward his Companion Dog Excellent (CDX) title.

Seawitch, the Portuguese Water Dog owned by Dr. Gail Clark, The K9 Shrink,  won her Rally Novice (RN) Title. We are all happy to see Seawitch compete, she has been an eager observer of so many of our practice sessions.

Gracie, the black Labrador Retriever owned by Jan Meyer took Second Place in Open B with a respectable score of 195 1/2.  Gracie won over many more veteran dogs to take this prize.

Ferry, Karen Nutter‘s Portuguese Water Dog, earned her 7th UDX Leg. Ferry took Fourth Place in Utility B on Saturday and lost a runoff for a tie for Fourth Place in Open B.

Jon Richards‘ Cocker Spaniel Ronin took Fourth Place in Utility B on Sunday.

Judy Criswell‘s Boston Terrier Jewell took Best Bred By in Conformation competition at the Boston Terrier Specialty. Jewell is the granddaughter of Dillon.
