I have taken two other puppy kindergarten classes in town also with 3 month old field trial black Labradors with VERY high energy. This has been the most effective and fun class to date. I love that while training is taught and the serious nature of having a well-trained dog emphasized, the fun and silliness of training the dogs is also clearly demonstrated. I especially like the commands that are very ‘family’ friendly such as ‘settle’ for informal situations as compared with ‘stay’, and the option to teach the dog that when invited it is OK to jump up for a hug. It is clear that all trainers greatly love and enjoy the company of dogs without the need to be aggressive and overly domineering with the dogs. This makes the class extremely enjoyable.
